Meeting on in Porto, 20th-24th April

Thursday, minibus, lounge, plane, beer in Square,
ferry across the river, beer, vehno verde and dinner, pork
belly and Broad beans & mixed grill, monkfish &
prawn rice, slow cooked veal. Taxi back home, beer, port
and Richard’s quiz. Friday, hangover, coffee, bread &
Jam. Umbrella purchase. Walk to river, beers in the heavy
rain, toasted steak, ham & cheese and hot dog
sandwiches and chips. Ferry in the rain, Port tour in the
rain, food market, Octopus, beer and vehno verde. Beers in
the bar where car valuing occurred. Walk back across
bridge, beer in the hanging meat bar. Walk to apartment
beers in road of apartment. Port and kebabs for some.
Saturday, hangover, coffe and toast. 3m walk to boat trip,
quick coffee, on the boat 11am to 1pm for beers and lunch,
quick beer after and taxi back. Preparation for walking
food tour. Old shop, wine, meat & cheese, market,
white wine and canned cod, mackerel and horse mackerel
(all yuck) vehno verde. Cake shop for meringue top
pastry’s and coffee. Bar fir local red slosh and pork
roll. Port shop for 3 ports white, tawny and ruby and
savoury / sweet Petis pois things. Back to the apartment
for trousers, walk to river stop for quick beer, then
square. More beers and white wine and ashtray purchase.
Walk along river last bar for beers and Alden characture.
Taxi back for beers port and sing song. Sunday, hangover,
2m walk for full English breakfast, back to apartment for
farewell to Bob. Walk to river, for tapas lunch /
sandwiches beer (for some) gin / port and tonic. Walk up
to Ryan’s bar for Semi final guiness, guiness line
challenge, darts and Jaeger bombs. Walk river beers in the
square, discussion over where to eat. Walk over bridge to
restaurant for dinner soup, cod fish and chorizo for
starters, local fresitina, steak, salmon and secret pig.
Bread pudding for Alden. Beer, red/ white and Port to
finish. Taxi back to apartment. Beer and port, sing song
and only 2 rounds of Richard’s quiz. Monday, hangover,
leave apartment , drop cases at station, full English
breakfast in square (for some) I had toast and croissant
sort of 😂. Walk to river, beers in square, new hat for
Kim. Walk back to get cases from station and to taxi pick
up for airport. Lounge, plane,
Minibus home. Think that’s about it. We really should have
tried to fit more drinking in 😂😂👍
